Butter Cookies
This Recipe will make apporximately 2 dozen cookies.
INGREDIENTS
* 3/4 cup butter or margarine softened
* 1/4 cup granulated sugar
* 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
* 1 egg yolk
* 1-3/4 cups all purpose flour
* 3/4 TSP baking powder
DIRECTIONS
Combine butter, granluated sugar, and egg yolk in bowl. Add flour, baking powder, mix well, cover
Refrigerate until firm, 4 hours or overnight.
Preheat oven to 350 Degrees F. Roll dough on floured surface to 1/4 inch thickness.
Cut into desired shapes, Place on greased cookie sheets.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until edges begin to brown.
Remove to wire racks, allow to cool completely
